Now in its 11th year, Burnley Business Week takes place from Monday 25 to Friday 29 September. It is designed for businesses of all sizes, covering a wide range of topics from the challenges and rewards of business start-ups to the dynamic world of digital marketing. A New Approach to Corporate Wellness: The Fitness MOT
Friday 29 September, 9am – 12pm
The Fitness MOT is a unique approach to corporate wellness, offering attendees a chance to assess their fitness levels using Fitness Evolution’s cutting-edge Boditrax Machine. Attendees will receive expert advice on how to enhance their health and productivity. Ash Alderson, Manager at Fitness Evolution says:

Mental Health Matters: Mental Health Awareness
Tuesday 26 September, 9:30am – 3pm
The Mental Health Awareness sessions aim to underscore the importance of mental health within the business environment. Participants will gain invaluable resources and knowledge to strengthen mental health support in their workplaces, reducing sickness, stress, inter-office tensions and conflicts and increasing efficiency.
Embracing Sustainability: Implementing Net Zero and Renewable Energy Technologies
Tuesday 26 September, 2pm – 3.30pm
The Net Zero activity, conducted by the Low Carbon Team, will educate attendees about the concept of net zero and the process of developing carbon reduction plans. Burnley College will also share its expertise on Renewable Energy Technologies like battery storage systems, electric vehicle charging points, solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, and ground & air source heat pumps.
