Advanced Material selections and correctly selecting the right material for the job. Including a guide and demonstration of fibre-based filaments and why these are important to industry.

Downloading the users own 3D CAD files including a quick start guide to modelling software, converting files to a usable state for slicing software such as CURA, CREALITY SLICER ETC.

Product quality settings, how to change these settings for speed or finished surface quality. Advanced setting such as infills, flow rates, wall thicknesses etc. for producing an improved engineered component.

Advanced maintenance of printers, changing most basic components and fault-finding mechanical problems.

A brief overview of other additive manufacturing types such as Resin printers, SLS and Metallic MFFF.

This course should allow a hobbyist or amateur user to have the confidence to purchase, set up and start to print more advanced engineered components, select the correct materials and set up the printer to use these materials to their best, find faults and carry out basic repairs.
